Glenn L. Mosher Glenn Lee Mosher, 96, most recently of Schwartz Towers, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at Finger Lakes Center for Living. The son of Warren Barton Mosher and L. Dora Tinker Mosher, Glenn was born in Rochester on September 6, 1919 and lived in the Auburn area most of his life. Glenn was a graduate of Moravia High School, the Denver School of Commerce , and the Auburn Business School. He was employed for many years as payroll clerk at Firth Carpet, where he met his wife of 66 years, the late Vera Lusk Mosher. He retired in 1981 from Guaranteed Parts in Seneca Falls after many years in the accounting department. Glenn was a World War II veteran and a Bronze Star recipient, having served five years with Hq. Co. 3rd Battalion, 108th Infantry, participating in the Southern Philippines Campaign GO 33 WD 45. Glenn was a communicant of SS Peter and John Episcopal Church, a former member of the vestry, and a faithful usher for many years. Glenn is survived by his daughters, Patricia M. Mosher of Orlando, FL., Susan M. McNeill of Liverpool, and Shelley M. Forsythe and her husband, Rob of Freeville, one grandson, Ian J. Forsythe, one grand-daughter, Anna E. Forsythe, sister-in-law, Helen Mosher, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Glenn was pre-deceased by his wife, Vera, in November 2015, sister, Adelyn M. Donald, brother, Dale Mosher, Sr., and brother, Theodore B. Mosher. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 24th, at 11 a.m. at SS Peter and John Episcopal Church, 169 Genesee Street, Auburn. Burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SS Peter and John Episcopal Church. Langham Funeral Home, LLC has charge of arrangements. The family wishes to thank the staff at Finger Lakes Center for Living for their love and kindness during Glenn's time there.
