Jean Albring Obituary

Jean A. (Lull) Albring, 88, loving mother, wife and friend, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025.  Jean was the daughter of George S. and Florence (Gibbs) Lull of Niles, NY.  She spent most of her life just over the hill from her parents’ home on the farm of her loving husband of 59 years, Fred J. Albring.  She was a 1955 graduate of Moravia High School.  Jean loved to cook and bake, always trying new recipes.  She also enjoyed gardening, growing both vegetables and beautiful flowers.  She canned and froze everything she could for the winter months.  She was always into crafts, sewing, bird watching, and couponing, but above all, she loved to read.  The local newspapers, magazines and books filled her many hours.  Jean also was a devoted member of the Owasco Reformed church for the last 76 years.

Jean is survived by her two daughters, Ann (Perry) Warner, of Skaneateles, NY, and Cynthia (David) Remley, of Honeoye Falls, NY, a nephew, John (Alice) Butler, of Skaneateles, NY, a brother, David Lull, of Auburn, NY, two brothers-in-law, Edward Albring and Edward Baylor, three grandchildren, Maria (Ricky) Rawson, Shannon (Carl) Oropallo, and Tyler Warner, four great grandchildren, Hailey (Brett) Armstrong, James (Kim Davies) Rawson, Nathan Oropallo and Joey Oropallo, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Jean was predeceased by her loving husband, Fred J. Albring, and her sisters, Betty Albring and Suzanne Baylor.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross or the American Parkinson’s Disease Association.  A graveside service is planned for early spring.
