Obituary of Donald Kenneth Arnold

Donald Kenneth Arnold, 84, of 6 Upper Dr., passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Auburn Nursing Home. Born in Millinocket, Maine, he was the son f the late Kenneth and Mabel Derosier Arnold. Donald was a 1946 Stearns High School graduate. Following graduation he enlisted in the Navy and enrolled in radar and electronics until 1950. He was employed with GE in Auburn as an electronic technician and retired from Powerex after 37 years of employment . In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and golfing. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. He is survived by his wife Barbara Shutter Arnold and their three children, Michele 'Micky' Gabak and her husband Tim, Don 'Skip' Arnold and his wife Laurie and Cheryl Fritz and her husband Art. Also surviving are his four grandchildren Erin Cuff, Brian Gabak, Andy and Matt Fritz and by four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services for Donald will be private for immediate family and friends at Langham Funeral Home. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum.
