David Ferlenda,49, the kindest and gentlest of men, of 449 North Seward Ave., Auburn passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Sue of 26 years, his children, Jennifer Ferlenda and Bill Bouley (stepson), his parents, Tom and Liz Ferlenda, his sisters, Tricia (Dana Botindari) and Christine (Tim Malone) and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. The entire Ferlenda family would like to thank Unity Hospital, Strong Memorial Hospital and Auburn Community Hospital for their unending compassion and care and to all who expressed their generosity and love for David throughout David's illness, especially those who shared this past weekend with us in celebration and support for David. We are all forever grateful. David will always be remembered for his Love. We will always cherish his memory and will remember always, anyone who ever knew David...loved David. There will be no services held at this time. A Celebration of David's Life and Love will be held later this summer. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions in David's memory to the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, a place where David found joy, 3395, US20, Seneca Falls, NY 13148.
