Please share a memory of Marilyn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Marilyn M. Donovan, "Aunt Marilyn", 81, passed away unexpectedly at her home Wednesday, August 10, 2016. She was born December 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred Murphy. She was a 1952 graduate of Auburn East High School and worked several years with National Bank of Auburn. She and her late husband , Robert D. Donovan, "Dunner", owned and operated Cayuga County AAA for many years. Together, they spent many winters in their home in Ft. Lauderdale. Marilyn was passionate about so many things but her greatest joys were her family and her Mackenzie Childs collection. She always looked forward to her Friday nights with "the gang" and was an avid Syracuse fan. She enjoyed antiquing, especially the Rt 90 sale and was known as a "fashionista", as if it was glitzy, sparkly or pink, Marilyn owned it. She was predeceased by her husband and love of her life "Dunner" in 2008 and is survived by her two nieces whom she considered daughters, Karen (Michael) Dudden and Lynn (Mark) Sinicropi and by her two great nieces Kristen and Taylor Sinicropi. Calling hours will be Friday, August 12 from 5-7pm at Langham Funeral Home, LLC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 9am at St. Mary's Church followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marilyn's memory may be made to the Fleming Fire Department. Please visit www.Langhamfuneralhomellc.com to leave a condolence for the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Marilyn's caregivers.
