AUBURN | John M. Troyan III, "JT", 48, of Franklin Street Road, Auburn, passed away with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Born in Auburn, he was the son of John M. Troyan Jr. and Lynda Rosekrans Troyan. He was a 1986 graduate of Auburn High School and a 1990 graduate of Oneonta College. JT lived in New York City for many years and was a wonderful, professional salesman who held many executive positions including The Hollywood Reporter, Variety and Nielsen. JT was a proud member of the Friars Club. He loved golfing at Highland Golf and Country Club where he was a member for many years. He will be missed by his beloved wife, Deborah (Jones) Troyan; his mother, Lynda; stepson, Nathan Conover, Leslie and four grandchildren, Maeanna, Amelia, Nathan Jr., and Siri; sister, Jennifer (Curtiss) Troyan Stevens; nephews, CJ and Jacob; nieces, Kayla and Alyssa, and a large extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by his father, John M. Troyan Jr.; grandparents, Lynn and Lois Rosekrans, John M. Troyan Sr. and Helen Lehto Troyan, and Carole Rosekrans Schlafer. A celebration of his life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 at Highland Park.
