AUBURN | Paula Wright Durgala passed away on Good Friday, April 19, 2019, at Auburn Community Hospital with her family and Lord by her side. She was born Nov. 15, 1937 to the late Fredric W. and Marian V. Wright. She was a lifelong resident of this area. She married Milan M. Durgala on June 11, 1960. They had two children, Ellen D. Si, of Philadelphia, Pa., and Paul W. Durgala, of Oneonta, N.Y. She had degrees from A.C.C. and O.C.C. Most of her life she was a homemaker but did do secretarial work over the years. In her life, Paula was active in Girl Scouting, Boy Scouting, Walk to Emmaus, Trinity United Methodist Church, and Auburn Nazarene. Her greatest love after God was her family, helping and being involved with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed her church work and weekly card group. Surviving besides her husband and children are four granddaughters, Anna, Linnea, Naomi, and Elizabeth Si; her son-in-law, Kam Lo (Larry) Si; nephew, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard W. Wright. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, in the Nazarene Church, 3360 E. Genesee St. Road, Auburn, with calling hours from 9 to 11 a.m. preceding. A luncheon there will follow. Burial will be in Throopsville Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may wish to contribute to her church, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or a charity of their choosing. Arrangements are with Langham Funeral Home LLC.
