I was never told or heard you were gone until yesterday.
Our lives have set us in different directions and in doing so we lose track of time and people from the past but let it be known that you have and always will have shaped my life in ways that you will never know but I will always cherish. I thank you Mother Essie Mae for being present in my life as a child, picking me up for church and being apart of our family dynamics. You will always be cherished and loved . Rest in Paradise

I was so sad to learn of Essie Mae's death. She was a special friend to our family. She was my son's bus driver to the ARC for several years and he had a special attachment and love for her. I wanted to be able to come to her service but due to the fact that my son now has Alzheimer' on top of the Down Syndrome I just can't make it. I know she would understand.
The world has lost a beautiful person. She was so loving and kind. I know how much she loved children and how much she loved her church.
My condolences to her family. Just know she will always be remembered.
