Dear Cousin Jeanette,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Aunt Ginny was always fun to visit! She was such an upbeat person, despite the early loss of your dad and brother. And she was still working well into her later years. I can't imagine doing that myself, as I contemplate retirement in the next five or so years... Not sure the last time I saw her, but must have been when my mother, Elsie, was still living, so prior to 2005 most likely. Best wishes to you and your family!

I hadn't spoken to her for several years and just now googled her. Very sorry. My grandfather, George Beattie, was her boyfriend for many years, until his death almost 25 years ago. She was a lot of fun and very kind and caring.

To all of Virginia’s family.... your mom, grandmother, great mother;
I worked with Virginia from 1987-1993 and she will forever be one of those special people in the world highest on my pedestal for her virtuous life. For all of us in the dietary department she was the “mother hen”. Since then, until the last couple of years she sent me and my daughter ( we shared the same birthday), a birthday card. The world just lost a very special person. Hugs Mary Lou Barrette
