Kathleen "Mumzie" Janice Prince, 81, of Auburn, NY, went Home to our Lord on Monday, February 5, 2024. She was born to the late Woodrow Wilson and Dorothy Emma (McGuirk) Chilson on February 23, 1942 in Butler, PA. She received her associates degree from Cayuga Community College. She loved to crochet, to travel, reading and most importantly spending time with her family.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Duane "Grizz" Prince of Auburn, NY; children, Stacia (Douglas) Nolder of Roulette, PA, Kirk Spencer of West Lafayette, IN, Krista (Jay) Stockton of Rew, PA, and Benjamin (Jacqui) Prince of Hatfield, PA; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Shirleen Vanocker; and a host of relatives and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Spencer; brothers, William, Stephen, and Roger Chilson.

A memorial graveside service will be held Monday, July 8 at 1pm in NYS Veterans Cemetery- Finger Lakes, (formerly known as Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery ) 6632 State Rt. 96A, Ovid, NY 14521. Those planning to attend please arrive by 12:45pm at the Cemetery entrance.
