Obituary of Maryanne Maland

Maryanne (Miller) Maland, of Fairport, NY passed away at Strong Memorial Hospital on September 7, 2024, after a long illness. Maryanne was born December 5, 1942, in Auburn, NY to the late John and Lavena Miller. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Leonard Maland. Maryanne was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School and Auburn Community College. She had recently retired from Pittsford Central School District where she loved working with her young students. Maryanne truly loved her friends and family and was a very involved mom, grandmother and aunt. She loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas! She is survived by her sons Christopher and Jason (Kelley) Maland, her brother John Miller and her sister Laurie (Charlie) Guzewicz. Her grandchildren Ryan and Colin Maland. Her nieces and nephews Vincent Gleason (Jamie), Lindsey Guzewicz (Brendan), Meghan Guzewicz (Patrick), Kyle Guzewicz, Don Miller Jr. and David Ricci. Her great nieces and nephews Kaylei Gleason, Braeden Gleason, and Elizabeth Spencer. She was also predeceased by her brother Donald Miller. Visitation will be Friday, September 13, at Langham Funeral Home, LLC, 75 E. Genesee St. Auburn, NY from 2 - 5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, September 14 at St. Alphonsus Church at 10 am with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to E.
