Anne E. McClary, 91, passed away November 22, 2024 at Northwoods Rehab and Nursing Center in Moravia, NY. Anne was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late James and Agnes Casey Daly.

She was a graduate of Union Springs High School and was employed for many years with Cayuga County where she was employed as a medical transcriptionist. She later retired in 1992 from Auburn Memorial Hospital where she was a medical transcriptionist as well. In her earlier years she was an active member of the Second Baptist Church and the Gideons Auxiliary of Auburn.

She is survived by her two daughters, Theresa (James) Young and Donna (James) Frech; two step daughters Virgie Hill and Tena McClary; a brother Theodore Daly and a sister Nellie Mittiga. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her step mother Hazel Hart; husbands Robert E. Pinckney, Sr. and Russell L.McClary; a brother James Daly; sisters Mary Wright, Agnes Matro and Diane Ellis; a step daughter Erma Lee Halverson and by her sweet son Robert E. Pinckney, Jr.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Fleming Rural Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to Gideons International (Auburn, NY Camp) 52 Elm St., Camillus NY 13031. Please visit www.Langhamfuneralhomellc.com should you wish to leave a condolence.
