Dear Lawrence-&-Sara, Tom-&-Mary, Steve, Margaret, Tom, and other Family and Friends:
I was saddened to learn of the death of Andrea almost a year ago on December 15, 2015. It is sad to lose a loved one in death at any time or any age, but at 69 years old, it is too soon to leave us. Even though I did not know Andrea personally, please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss.
May I please share with you some comforting verses from the Bible, thoughts that others have shared with me when I lost loved ones in death, especially my father, Harold, to cancer at Hospice Hawaii.
First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they disobeyed and lost everything for themselves ... and us. (Romans 5:12)
Next, it comforted me, and softened my feelings about Jehovah God to learn that it is Satan who causes aging, sicknesses like Lupus, and death--not God (Hebrews 2:14). Long before He created humans, the Creator already had all the angels He wanted in heaven (Job 38:7).
Finally, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a peaceful, global paradise and that Andrea (and countless millions of others, including Irwin and Glenola) will be resurrected to enjoy it! Remember Jesus's words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected." Until then Andrea, Rest In Peace.
May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young, vibrant and totally healthy Andrea. And, ... If you would ever like to know more about when and how our Creator Jehovah will bring about these wonderful blessings (or why He has allowed sickness, suffering and death since Adam and Eve sinned so long ago), please feel free to contact me at the address below.
With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant

Please accept my heartfelt condolences and sympathy. This is Sally Carr, a childhood next door neighbor. Andrea and I had connected via Facebook a couple of years ago. I have many wonderful memories of our friendship and was so pleased to have found her after so many years. When we were kids we used to take our nickels to Holmes' Dairy and buy an orange drink. Or, if we could find an additional penny, we would buy the chocolate milk. We ate cherries from the tree in her back yard. During our summertime play, we tried not to trip over her Mom while she was sunbathing in the back yard. Once, Andrea rode with me as my folks drove us to our piano recital (we both took lessons from Mrs. Long). She and I did the hand-clapping hand jive all the way to the museum where the recitals were held. My Mom was worried we'd hurt our hands just before we were to play our pieces. I suppose that should be all the reminiscing, but I loved her; she holds a huge chunk of my memories and my heart.

Dear Glauberman Family,
Remembering a Life Well - Lived
Some people just can't help making
a difference in our lives.
By simply being who they are,
they make the world a little brighter,
a little warmer, a little gentler,
and when they're gone we realize
how lucky we are to have known them.
That is how I felt about Andrea.
We went to Central High School together.
We remained life long friends.
May you Rest In Peace with the Angles.
Your memory will live in my heart for ever more.

I was a year behind Andrea at Central High and knew her well during our school years. My husband and I moved back to the Auburn area a couple of years ago and started going to the Auburn Doubledays games. I was thrilled to see Andrea at the games and, many times, we sat with her and chatted with her. We had such a fun time with Andrea. The Doubledays Booster Club will miss her and I will forever carry memories of what a great "kid" she was.
