Dear William-&-Linda, Bonnie-&-John, and other Family and Friends:
I was saddened to learn of the death of Doris almost a year ago on December 21, 2015. It is sad to lose a loved one in death at any time or any age, but prayerfully at 91 years old, it could be said of Doris what was said of Isaac at Genesis 35:29, “she died old and satisfied with days.” Even though I did not know Doris personally, please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss.
May I please share with you some comforting verses from the Bible, thoughts that others have shared with me when I lost loved ones in death, especially my father, Harold, to cancer at Hospice Hawaii.
First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they disobeyed and lost everything for themselves ... and us. (Romans 5:12)
Next, it comforted me, and softened my feelings about Jehovah God to learn that it is Satan who causes aging, sicknesses like cancer, and death--not God (Hebrews 2:14). Long before He created humans, the Creator already had all the angels He wanted in heaven (Job 38:7).
Finally, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a peaceful, global paradise and that Doris (and countless millions of others, including Joseph, and George-&-Leona) will be resurrected to enjoy it! Remember Jesus's words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected." Until then Doris, Rest In Peace.
May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young, vibrant and totally healthy Doris. And, ... If you would ever like to know more about when and how our Creator Jehovah will bring about these wonderful blessings (or why He has allowed sickness, suffering and death since Adam and Eve sinned so long ago), please feel free to contact me at the address below.
With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant

Dear Bonnie and Billy,
Aunt Dorie (my Godmother) was a remarkable woman, so tender, sweet, gentle and kind. Fondest memories are the years growing up on S. Seward Ave. Uncle Joe (my Godfather) was our mailman, we use to take frequent strolls down the street to visit Aunt Dori, Nana and Grandpa Tommy.
My heart, hugs and love are with you as I know your hearts are broken. Take care, the memories we hold dearly in our hearts will bring comfort and smiles in days to come.
All my hugs and love,
Elizabeth

We were saddened to hear of the passing of your mom, Doris. She was a wonderful lady.
I will always cherish the good times I had at your home on Seward Ave. when we were
