Dear Sally, Marsha-&-John, Connie-&-Charles, Linda-&-Doug, and Family and Friends:
I was saddened to learn of the death of Donald on June 30, 2016. It is sad to lose a loved one in death at any age, but hopefully at 84 years of age, it can be said of Donald what was said of Isaac at Genesis 25:39 "he died old and satisfied with days." Even though I did not know Donald personally, please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss.
I would like to share with you some verses from the Bible that bring comfort, thoughts that others have shared with me when I lost loved ones, especially my parents.
First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they sinned and lost everything for themselves, ... and us. (Romans 5:12)
Next, it comforted me and softened my feelings toward Jehovah God to learn that it is Satan who causes aging, sickness and death--not God (Hebrews 2:14). Long before He created humans, the Creator already had all the angels He wanted in heaven (Job 38:7).
Finally, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a peaceful, global paradise and that Donald (and countless millions of others, including Billy, Earl and Mary) will be resurrected to enjoy it! Remember Jesus' words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected."
May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young and healthy Donald. And, ... if you would ever like to know more about when and how our Creator Jehovah will bring about these wonderful blessings (or why He has allowed sickness, suffering and death since Adam and Eve sinned so long ago), please feel free to contact me at the address below. Until then Donald, Rest In Peace.
With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant

I will always remember Mr. Heath as my wonderful next door neighbor. Growing up, I may have been at the Heath's more than at my own house and recall Mr. Heath as a busy guy, always working on something, back and forth between the house and the lake. Many times Linda, Jill and I would be playing and hear the fire station radio signaling for help from the volunteer firemen. Mr. Heath would be out the door!! As a child I didn't realize the sacrifice this type of volunteer service requires, but as an adult I really appreciate the time and effort it takes to serve in this manner. My sincerest condolences to Sally, Marsha, Connie, Linda and the whole family on the passing of Don. He was a great man and I feel fortunate to have known him.
