Dear William, and Doris, and Family and Friends:
I was saddened to learn of the death of a fellow teacher, Carol Ann four months ago on July 12, 2016. She taught for 32 years in the Genesee School Districts; and I taught 32 years in Hawaii School Districts.
It is sad to lose a loved one in death at any age, but hopefully at 74 years of age, it can be said of Carol Ann what was said of Isaac at Genesis 25:39 "she died old and satisfied with days." Even though I did not know Carol Ann personally, please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss.
I would like to share with you some verses from the Bible that bring comfort, thoughts that others have shared with me when I lost loved ones, especially my parents.
First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they sinned and lost everything for themselves, ... and us. (Romans 5:12)
Next, it comforted me and softened my feelings toward Jehovah God to learn that it is Satan who causes aging, sickness and death--not God (Hebrews 2:14). Long before He created humans, the Creator already had all the angels He wanted in heaven (Job 38:7).
Finally, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a peaceful, global paradise and that Carol Ann (and countless millions of others, including ) will be resurrected to enjoy it! Remember Jesus' words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected."
May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young and healthy Carol Ann. And, ... if you would ever like to know more about when and how our Creator Jehovah will bring about these wonderful blessings (or why He has allowed sickness, suffering and death since Adam and Eve sinned so long ago), please feel free to contact me at the address below. In the meantime Carol Ann, Rest In Peace (John 11:11).
With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant

True compassion for all of Carol's Family, and Friends. Many years spent, but still not enough becoming a friend with one of the best human beings I have ever known. For me Carol will never be forgotten. Never a bad word spoken about anyone, and all way's that smile, and heart of a protector. Carol knew every teacher I knew that was my friend, and they all showed me what was good. One time when I shared with Carol how I had been hurt in business by a friend of many years, Carol with that smile said, " Let it go it is now in the past ". Yes I will miss her. Rest in Peace Carol, you with your goodness helped so many others to rest easy, and they will never know that it was you who helped. God Bless.

Carol was a good friend with a kind and generous heart. For the past few years she joined us in Oswego for late Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners as well as a number of special occasions. Although she was not blood she was family.
Her kindness and generosity was never more illustrated than when she gave a casual friend the money he needed for a life saving operation becasue he did not have health insurance. That casual friend paid her back and they became good friends.
As those of you who knew her well knew she could be negative at times but I would challenge her every time and by the end of our conversations she would be laughing. I took her to lunch the day before she fell ill this last time and we both were laughing by the end of our visit. Much to my surprise I received a "Thank you" card in the mail that she must have mailed before she became so ill. I wasn't surprised by the card as she loved sending cards to family and friends but the timing surprised me. I will cherish that card as I cherish her friendship.
RIP my dear Carol.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I remember Carol on the Weedsport school bus from Sennett to school. She was a fun person and I enjoyed her on our bus rides. Unfortunately, I never knew her as an adult. Undoubtedly, you will miss her greatly.

My condolences to the Cooper Family. I was a student of Miss Coopers at Warners Elementary. I have only good memories and much respect for Miss Cooper both during my years as a student and in more recent years when I would bump into Carol at an auction or at The Antique exchange. She will be missed by many who knew her. I am sorry for your loss. Bill Palmer

I am so saddened to hear of Carol's passing. I taught with her for many years at Stonehedge. She always did her best for all those she taught and she was a valuable staff member. I often saw her at auctions, too, she was so knowledgeable and enjoyed collecting. Her warm smile will be missed. My condolences to all the Cooper family.
