So sorry to hear of your father’s death. His wonderful obituary brought back many great memories.
I was a student of the Betty Week’s School of Dance in the late 50’s. Reading that your Dad made many of the props for the recitals, made me remember the time that my best friend and I were in a number – “Swinging on a Star”! We were actually UP in the air on a swing with a huge star that I’m sure your Dad built. Before the curtain opened your Mother pushed the swing. I will tell you now, we were scared to death! The swing was lowered during the show so we could do our number. I also remember the many Christmas Parties at the Masonic Temple on South Street.
Please remember the lasting impressions that your family made on me and so many others in the community.
