Dear William, Michael-&-Kate, Ellen, Cathleen, Patrick-&-Margaret, Maureen, Devon-&-Tamra, and Other Family and Friends:
I was saddened to learn of the death of Maura on February 12, 2015. It is sad to lose a loved one in death at any age, but at 83, hopefully it can be said of Maura what was said of Isaac at Genesis 25:39 "she died old and satisfied with days." Even though I did not know Maura personally, please accept my deepest sympathy in this second year of your loss.
I would like to share with you some verses from the Bible that bring continuing comfort, thoughts that others have shared with me when I lost loved ones.
First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they sinned and lost everything for themselves ... and us. (Romans 5:12)
Next, it comforted me and softened my feelings toward Jehovah God to learn that it is Satan who causes aging, sicknesses like Parkinson's, cancer, and death--not God (Hebrews 2:14). Long before He created humans, the Creator already had all the angels He wanted in heaven (Job 38:7).
Finally, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a peaceful, global paradise and that Maura (and countless millions of others) will be resurrected to enjoy it! Remember Jesus' words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected." Until then Maura, Rest In Peace.
May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young and healthy Maura. And, ... if you would ever like to know more about when and how our Creator Jehovah will bring about these wonderful blessings (or why He has allowed sickness, suffering and death since Adam and Eve sinned so long ago), please feel free to contact me at the address below.
With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant

Bill,
I'm very sorry to get Toni's message about Maura. I remember meeting her at our 40th re-union. She was a lovely person.
Your were one of my favorite teachers. Though I turned out OK, I wish I had paid more attention to you in high school. I hope to see you at a future re-union.

With good memories and sorrow we send our sympathy. As a young Mother Maura set a wonderful example for me by her frequent trips to the Library with her children for books and by reading herself.

I am writing to send my sympathies to the Kehoe family. You were my second family in high school in Rochester, NY, and Maura made a welcoming place for me at your table and in your home. Her acceptance of me was unconditional and her presence always made me feel calmer and more centered during those turbulent years.
I send my love to Bill, Michael, Ellen, Cathleen and all of your families.
With many fond memories and highest regards,
Shifra (formerly Amy) Armon
