Dear William-&-Joan, Linda-&-Jack, Nancy-&-Ken, and Other Family and Friends:
I was saddened to learn of the death of Dorothy on March 22, 2015. It is sad to lose a loved one in death at any age, but hopefully at 95, it can be said of Dorothy what was said of Isaac at Genesis 25:39 "she died old and satisfied with days." Even though I did not know Dorothy personally, please accept my deepest sympathy in this second year of your loss.
I would like to share with you some verses from the Bible that bring continuing comfort, thoughts that others have shared with me when I lost loved ones.
First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they sinned and lost everything for themselves ... and us. (Romans 5:12)
Next, it comforted me and softened my feelings toward Jehovah God to learn that it is Satan who causes aging, sicknesses like cancer, and death--not God (Hebrews 2:14). Long before He created humans, the Creator already had all the angels He wanted in heaven (Job 38:7).
Finally, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a peaceful, global paradise and that Dorothy (and countless millions of others, including Chester, Shirley, Chester Jr., John-&-Margie, Weavers Mark E. and Valerie A.) will be resurrected to enjoy it! Remember Jesus' words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected." Until then Dorothy, Rest In Peace.
May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young and healthy Dorothy. And, ... if you would ever like to know more about when and how our Creator Jehovah will bring about these wonderful blessings (or why He has allowed sickness, suffering and death since Adam and Eve sinned so long ago), please feel free to contact me at the address below.
With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant

Hi Grandma!
I miss you soo much! I'm going to miss visiting you at the home and sending time with you. When ever I came down to Auburn, visiting you was one of my favorite things to do. I know you are happy in heaven because you are with your husband and Valarie, but I will be missing you and wishing you are here again every day. It would always make me happy when I would come to visit you with Nancy and you would say this is my grand-daughter to the other ladies at your table.
I miss you so much and every day I silently shed a tear for you. hope you enjoyed the poem I read at your funeral, that was one of the hardest and saddest things in my life
Lots of love,
Keely Walsh
