Obituary of Dorothy M. Kolp

Dorothy M. Kolp, 95, formerly of Boyle Center, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at The Commons on St. Anthony, Auburn, with her family by her side. Born August 7, 1919 in Auburn, the daughter of the late Robert and Anna Brown Bell. She was a communicant and member of the Rosary Society at St. Mary's Church, she was very involved in many activities for the 22 years she lived at Boyle Center and with her husband a member of a camping group, The Getaways. She is survived by her three children, William (Joan) Kolp, and Linda (Jack) Newton of Arlington ,Texas and Nancy (Ken) Weaver, of Auburn,NY . 7 grandchildren Michelle (Tom) Grothouse, Michael (Erin) Kolp, Cassie Weaver, Jenny(Michael) Hughes, Lindsay (David) Pilato , Kimberly Adler, Kevin Newton. 17 great grandchildren Austin & Brooklyn Witzel, Lucas & Ella Kolp, Alyssa & Ashton Weaver, Matthew Crounse, Bryn, Keely, Shea & Aivleen Walsh, Jack Pilato, Courtney & Kyler Hitt, Colby & Chase Adler and Rylan Newton. 1 great great grandson Kamden Hitt. Sister in law Charlotte Darrow. Several nieces and nephews which includes special nieces Yvonne Ottley and Tina Ciaburri who along with their mom took her on weekly shopping trips for several years. She was predeceased by her husband, Chester D. Kolp, and two infants Shirley and Chester Jr. Her brother John Brown and his wife Margie. Grandson Mark E. Weaver and great grand daughter Valerie A. Weaver. Friends are invited to visit the family on Wednesday from 5-7PM at Langham Funeral Home, LLC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:30AM at St. Mary's Church.
